Postmodern design collective founded by Ettore Sottsass in Milan on 11 December 1980; debut collection presented at Salone del Mobile 1981 with members including Michele De Lucchi, Martine Bedin, Nathalie Du Pasquier, Peter Shire, Michael Graves, Shiro Kuramata and Alessandro Mendini. Sottsass dissolved the group in 1988; the brand survives as a producer of the original catalog.
