Lounge chair previewed by Vitra at 3 Days of Design Copenhagen (10–12 June 2026) at Klubiensvej 22, Pakhus 48, Nordhavn; official launch September 2026. Designed by Lisa Ertel and Anne-Sophie Oberkrome of Studio Œ. Loosely tailored textile cover draped onto the frame using fashion-tailoring techniques; cushions use recycled fibres or V-Foam (recyclable polyurethane co-developed by Vitra and BASF) instead of conventional permanently bonded polyurethane. Underlying suspension auto-adjusts to user’s weight for a smooth sit-to-recline transition (name ‘bascule’ = French ‘seesaw’).
