Originally Palazzo Pro Arte, built 1894–1895 to host the first International Art Exhibition; entrance hall dome frescoed by Galileo Chini (1907–1909); current Duilio Torres facade (1932); Carlo Scarpa interventions from 1948 onward, including the 1952 internal courtyard and window fixtures. Restored 2024–2026 by Roman studio Labics with €31M PNRR funding, reopened May 2026 for the 61st Biennale Arte.
