- Description
- Renzo Piano's purpose-built museum for the Beyeler collection in Berower Park, Riehen, with four parallel 115-metre porphyry walls set seven metres apart under a glazed roof. Ground broken September 1994 and opened 18 October 1997; a 1999 extension added 458 sqm to bring exhibition space to about 3,764 sqm.
